Description: Open all year round. Potter's Creek Park is located on the north side of Canyon Lake, which is located in the beautiful hill country of Texas, halfway between Austin and San Antonio. The park offers 119 campsites, one group shelter, five multi-family campsites (for 2-3 RV's), and seven screened shelters. Additional amenities include flush restrooms with showers, two dump stations, two boat ramps, and a beach area. All sites have water and electric hookups, a covered picnic table, stand up grill, and a fire ring.

Due to limited parking in the park, visitors are encouraged to carpool whenever possible. Mini-cabins have replaced the screened shelters. No school sponsored rates for overnight camping.

Reservations are recommended for cave tours, call the park info. Guided interpretive tours to Gorman Falls are available on Saturday at 2pm. Fees are $5 for adults, $2 for children 6-12, & children under 6 are free. Gorman Falls is now accessible by a day use hiking trail. The trail length is approx. 4 miles round trip.
