A panoply of feathered fauna inhabits Mammoth Cave National Park, including grebes, herons, geese, ducks, vultures, hawks, bald eagles, quail, wild turkey, sandpipers, doves, hummingbirds, kingfishers, whip-poor-wills, owls, flycatchers, crows, blue jays, chickadees, titmice, nuthatches, wrens, thrushes, catbirds, starlings, vireos, wood warblers, tanagers, cardinals, sparrows, blackbirds, and finches.
