The 2.8 mile Petroglyph Point trail along with the interpretive booklet acquired at the trailhead is fun for children and the entire family. The trail starts near Spruce Tree House and the Chapin Mesa Museum.

Junior Ranger Program

Children from age 4 to 12 and up can pick up a Junior Ranger Application at Far View Visitor Center or Chapin Mesa Museum. Once the application is completed, they can be reviewed by a Ranger at Far View Visitor Center or Chapin Mesa Museum. A certificate and badge are earned for a job well done.
