Special Junior Ranger programs are offered throughout the park on summer weekends (daily at Paradise in summer). A Junior Ranger Activity Book is available year-round. Guided snowshoe walks are offered in winter and may be suitable for families with children 8 and up. Some trails are accessible for strollers and small children, including Trail of the Shadows (Longmire), Grove of the Patriachs (near Ohanapecosh), and Emmons Vista (Sunrise). Ask a ranger for additional suggestions. Formal education programs are available for school and youth groups.
