Junior Ranger Program

Kids can take a voyage through the streets of New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park by participating in the Junior Ranger program. Pick up the newly revised Junior Ranger booklet at the beginning of your visit at the park visitor center. The activities in the Junior Ranger booklet are a fun and educational way to explore the historical park with young people. Designed for children of all ages (even the youngest child will be able to do the scavenger hunt and older children will be challenged by the questions), the Junior Ranger booklet is offered free of charge. “Junior Rangers” completing the series of activities in the booklet are invited to return to the visitor center to receive an official Junior Ranger badge and sticker.
