Delaware National Scenic River

The section of the Delaware River that is designated the Middle Delaware National Scenic River is 40 miles long and is contained completely within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, a unit of the National Park system.

The Middle Delaware National Scenic River is administered by the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
