Alpinestars Drop 2 Shorts - Men's

Not everyone shuttles or rides a lift to get to their favorite ribbon of singletrack. For the unfortunate many who have to pedal uphill, a padded insert isn't a luxury; it's a necessity. The Alpinestars Drop 2 Short comes with a removable chamois that you'll be thankful for from the moment you swing your leg over your all-mountain rig. Because it's removable, you can also wear it with other shorts or jeans.Alpinestars built the Drop 2 Shorts with strategically located stretch and vent panels. On the back and in the crotch, spandex panels stretch for an unlimited range of motion. This also adds to the shorts' durability, because it stretches rather than tearing. The synthetic fabric pulls moisture away from your body to keep you dry and comfortable, even in the heat of the summer. Alpinestars also added zippered mesh vents on the thighs that push hot, stale air out and allow fresh, cool air to flow in and around your body. Stretch ripstop reinforcements at the hem add durability. A NOOSFERA removable liner with a chamois absorbs shock and vibration to reduce fatigue. It also manages moisture to keep you dry and comfortable. A seamless seat area increases comfort and eliminates chafing. The liner can also be worn with other shorts, so you can transform any of your other shorts into bike shorts. Alpinestars also included hook-and-loop waist adjustment straps that allow you to perfectly dial in your fit, and two flat side pockets and two deep front pockets provide comfortable, convenient, secure storage while you ride.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
