Arc'teryx Lithic Gore-Tex Glove

As tough as the mountains they're designed to be used on, the Arc'teryx Lithic Gore-Tex Gloves are built with a burly, highly hydrophobic, N333p-X Gore-Tex (three-layer) fabric at the palm and fingers for high-performing waterproof protection that shuts out any unwanted weather. At the back of the hand, a hyper-breathable N70p Gore-Tex (three-layer) fabric allows the buildup of sweaty moisture to escape, while remaining fortified against any snow or water from seeping in. The TriDex construction enhances your dexterity for an easier time clipping up your boot buckles and boosts breathability to offer a soggy-free fit. These gloves are packed with PrimaLoft Silver and Gold insulation to deliver a furnace-like feel without the bulk. An internal draft tube wraps around your wrist and traps the precious heat you've built up, ensuring your digits stay toasty when temps hit single digits. The inner cuff is treated with DWR to help shed snow and keep precipitation on the outside where it belongs. When the lifts stop spinning, clip these gloves together with the webbing loops and hang them up until you do it all over again tomorrow.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
