Atlas Elektra Access Snowshoe - Women's

Take the trail less-traveled through uneven and variable terrain in comfort and confidence with the Atlas Women's Elektra Access Snowshoe. Comfortable and easy to use, the Elektra Access is equipped with a Wrapp Trail binding system that makes entry and exit a breeze while securely cradling your foot with every step. The Light-Ride Suspension system offers the ideal blend of comfort and function, allowing your foot to articulate naturally and absorbing impact for smooth sailing over less aggressive terrain. The Elektra frame is shaped to accommodate a natural gait, with tapered tails, a narrower nose, and outside rolling bends that nest the snowshoes together comfortably. The design is molded around a women's boot last, offers increased arch support, and uses carefully-placed strapping and padding to eliminate pressure points and keep circulation going in the cold. A flexible Nytex decking delivers a forgiving and quiet ride when hiking in the cold and provides durability without the weight, while the heel lift bars ease fatigue and conserve your calf muscles on steep climbs.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
