Big Agnes Brooklyn Sleeping Bag: 0 Degree Synthetic - Women's

As nice as down is, you don't want to be worried about trying to keep it completely dry when you're camping in cold and snowy climates, because spindrift will inevitably work its way into your tent and melt on your bag. With a 0F temperature rating and recycled synthetic insulation, the Big Agnes Women's Brooklyn Sleeping Bag will keep you warm during those especially cold nights and will retain its insulating properties even if your careless tent mate forgets to close the door after he sticks his head out to check on the raging blizzard outside. The Brooklyn has a relatively roomy semi-rectangular shape and is made with Big Agnes' Insotect Tubic construction, which is designed to evenly disperse body heat to help keep your arms, legs, and feet warm and cozy throughout the night. A good sleeping pad is always key to staying warm during winter nights but won't do you much good if you roll off, so Big Agnes attached a full-length pad sleeve that will hold any rectangular sleeping pad up to 20 inches wide. A draft tube, collar, and wedge work to eliminate heat loss around the neck and zipper, and the Brooklyn can be mated with other compatible Big Agnes sleeping bags when you're looking to get cozy with your partner.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
