Black Diamond Sharp End Shell Jacket - Women's

When the ascent demands lightning-fast speeds through variable conditions and terrain, look no further than the Black Diamond Women's Sharp End Shell Jacket. The Gore-Tex Pro 3-layer shell provides unparalleled protection and breathability in the alpine, and since it weighs in at just 14oz, you aren't sacrificing weight for protection either. When the breathability of the jacket isn't enough to keep up with the rate of your ascent, two-way underarm ventilation zippers allow you to ditch heat quickly to avoid perspiration. The updated design includes underarm gussets and elbow articulation for overhead and forward mobility, so you can tackle pitches of rock, ice, or powder with freedom of movement. The integrated Cohaesive cord management technology implements an internal cord-lock for fast adjustments at the hem and hood without loops and elastic sticking out. Two hand pockets and one chest pocket provide room to carry a few snacks, straps, or lightweight liner gloves. A brushed microsuede liner on the chin and back of neck areas prevent your skin from being rubbed raw when moving in inclement conditions. All the while, the YKK reverse coil PU coated front zipper prevents moisture from seeping in through the front.
