Product Description
Encore Insulated Jacket - Men's by Burton
Stay out on the mountain longer with the premium waterproofing and toasty warmth of the Burton Men's Encore Insulated Jacket. This jacket features Burton's DryRide Durashell 2-layer membrane for waterproof, breathable protection when you're riding through mid-winter blizzards and late-season slush. Mapped with Thermolite synthetic insulation, the Encore features extra insulation in the body to retain core warmth, with a bit less in the sleeves for freedom of movement. Holding warmth through freezing temperatures, Thermolite mimics down's heat-trapping loft with its hollow-core synthetic fibers. However, unlike down insulation, Thermolite retains heat even in the wettest, sloppiest conditions for the ultimate in inclement-weather comfort. The Encore features Burton's Living Lining, which adapts to the conditions for enhanced thermo-regulation. This lining material features breathable pores that open to release extra heat when you're working up a sweat. Conversely, these very same pores close up when you're shivering cold, helping to lock in maximum warmth. Furthermore, the zippered underarm vents quickly cool down your upper body, especially when you're riding on those warmer spring days.
