Product Description
Vicious 4.5in Hiking Boot - Men's by Danner
Danner equipped the Men's Vicious Hiking Boot with everything you need to tackle tough trails in any condition--viciously. Gore-Tex gives this boot highly rated waterproof, breathable protection, while full-grain leather provides long-lasting durability. Danner's Trailguard platform cups your heel for stability and leaves the toes more open for extra mobility. The Vicious has a dual-density EVA midsole underfoot for shock absorption and cushy comfort, and the nylon shank enhances stability on rough terrain. This boot also features a speed lace system for easy on-and-off, an abrasion-resistant toe cap for rock protection, and Vibram's slip-resistant rubber for secure footing.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
