Product Description
Speed Zone 12 Ski by Dynastar
Dynastar's Speed Zone 12 Ski is an all-mountain carver with a propensity for fast-driven pursuits down corduroy. Delivering an entirely new level of ultra-smooth, on-trail precision, this ski's Active Wood core provides a suspension system equitable to a race car in the sense that it eliminates instability, absorbs shock, and effectively transfers energy into quiet acceleration and dynamic power. In plain speak, this speedy ski only encourages you to ride faster and harder, way past the point of bringing tears to your eyes. A ski this speedy requires a tight turn radius, stiff flex, and solid edge control, so Dynastar hooked it up with a skinny 72mm waist and Powerdrive sandwich construction. Powerdrive adds stable microcell foam, stiff titanal, and vibration-dampening Fibro metal to the wood core in order to give the ski the proper torsional rigidity it needs at top speeds. This ski's sandwich construction also includes full-length, vertical, ABS sidewalls to ensure long-lasting durability. Camber underfoot ensures effective edge control that you'd expect out of a carver, and a slightly rockered tip gives the ski a playful edge to ease turn initiation.
