Giordana Fusion Bib Tight - Women's

During those long, cold miles we put in between race seasons, nothing can spoil a ride faster than an unfortunate, stinging gap between jacket and tights. The Fusion Women's Bib Tights are Giordana's answer to this, as the bibs help ensure that your lower back doesn't suffer the abuse your exposed face and wrists inevitably do as gaiters slip down and jacket sleeves fail to adequately protect the long of limb. Anyone familiar with Giordana's centaur logo probably knows the Fusion title well, and the latest generation of tights to bear the model name push further into the winter chill by replacing the ubiquitous SuperRoubaix material with Mititech's new ThermoRoubaix. The fabric's lightly brushed inner face presses a fleecy loft against your skin, creating a layer of soft warmth as your muscles warm up. The tights aren't sheathed in windproof panels, so we believe they're equal to temperatures into the mid-30s, depending on your cold tolerance. Inside, the Fusion Bib Tights feature the same Cirro S-W chamois you'll find in Giordana's summer racing kit, so you won't have to experience the awkward break-in time while your body acclimates to a new chamois. This represents a considerable upgrade to the old Fusion tights, which use Giordana's mid-tier option, instead. The Cirro S-W has three layers of variable foam density that place a premium on managing moisture and strategically allocating pressure, and it's capped with an Aloe Vera-infused microfiber sheet that reduces transitional ridges, promotes saddle sore healing, and maintains an odor-resistant front against the negative outcomes of long days in the saddle. The multiple panels of ThermoRoubaix are combined in a curved design that's held in place by the all-important elastic straps and mesh back. When combined with the malleable fabric, this shape anatomically conforms to your body's contours while providing complete freedom of movement. To preserve the fit while in motion, Giordana pairs the bib straps wit...

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
