Giordana Sahara Compression Shorts - Men's

Conjuring images of stifling desert air and soaring temperatures, Giordana's Sahara Compression Men's Shorts were created with inhospitable heat in mind. Made for cyclists who live in scorching climates or live for scorching climbs, the Sahara Compression is crafted using proprietary fabric borrowed from the swim and undergarment industry. While it's tailored for the durability cyclists require, the fabric stays true to its roots by remaining supple and soft as it wicks moisture away from your skin. Giordana constructs each leg using just one piece of material, requiring the use of only one seam along the outside of the leg. Throughout each leg, the contoured, compressive fit encourages circulation and provides muscle support to help mitigate fatiguing vibrations. The only exceptions to the shorts' compressive hold are the leg bands, which are made from barely-there elastic mesh that gently holds the hems in place without constriction. Though you may spend much of a climb out of the saddle, you'll spend the descent in the drops relying on a plush chamois to support and cushion you as you recover from hard efforts. In the case of the Sahara, you'll be resting your laurels on Giordana's top-end Cirro S chamois, a slim design that integrates seamlessly with the rest of the shorts. It provides luxurious relief and support where you need it, while the Copa Mondiale feature -- specific to the men's line -- protects and supports the male anatomy in a structured recessed panel at the front of the insert.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
