Giordana Trade Scatto Jersey - Women's

The Giordana Trade Scatto Jersey is made with Giordana's very finest materials, but with a slightly roomier fit than the race-level FRC jersey. While the materials are top-tier, the fit is borrowed from Giordana's Silverline, so you can have all the performance of the very best with a little bit more room to move around. Designed for the discriminating female cyclist, this jersey was made just for women with all the features of the professional-level men's kits. The Scatto's main body is constructed from the slightly compressive Asteria fabric. Its nylon/Lycra composition provides a high level of muscle support that helps to resist road vibration. If you've ever ridden rough roads for extended periods, you know that muscle oscillation causes fatigue and doesn't make for a pleasant ride. The fabric also has a high level of wicking capability. This is accomplished with a honeycomb knit construction that rapidly pulls moisture away from the skin. From the surface of the fabric, moisture then evaporates to keep you dry. To aid in moisture management, Giordana added Micromesh panels at the back, underarms, and inner collar. This greatly reduces perspiration and the need for wicking capabilities, but should you need to make a heat dump during a blazing climb, the Trade is equipped with a full-length camlock zipper. The Scatto jersey is not merely a men's jersey that's been shrunken to "fit" a woman's frame. Giordana touts its innovative contoured cut as a marker of its jerseys and the Flash is no exception. The jersey has been cut on a curve in order to mimic the shape of your body while in the riding position. Because this fit is used, abrasion, fabric bunching, and pinching are eliminated. In order to secure the jersey in this position, Giordana uses Aerofix arm cuffs and waistband. The entire jersey has been flatlock stitched, and three back pockets and one zippered security pocket hold your riding essentials.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
