Sensor Carbon Pro Complete Mountain Bike - 2017 by GT
Even though we're all grown up, we still want a bike that brings us back to the joyously fun days of ripping through the neighborhood on our little GT. The 2017 GT Sensor Carbon Pro Complete Mountain Bike channels our childhood dreams and brings playful fun to adult-sized trails. Its carbon fiber construction and five inches of responsive Angle Optimized Suspension are all in for punchy antics, no matter if the terrain's kicking up or down. Add in Shimano's renowned XT componentry, Stan's NoTubes Arch MK3 wheels, a dropper post, and burly Schwalbe tires, and you've got a bike that will more than satisfy your need for adventure. GT crafts the Sensor Carbon with its Force Optimized Construction (FOC) Ultra carbon, which is a weave of lightweight and exceptionally strong high-modulus carbon fiber that results in a balance of lateral rigidity, impact resilience, and minimal weight. This translates to real life as a confident, capable, and responsive ride. The Sensor's Angle Optimized Suspension (AOS) utilizes a high-mount pivot that helps boost the suspension's shock absorbing capabilities. AOS is paired with GT's PathLink design, which cradles the crankset to limit chain extension. Essentially, AOS isolates rear axle travel from pedaling input, which means the Sensor can charge up hills without power-sucking pedal bob and drop down the other side without hesitation.
