Sirkka Mid Winter Boot - Women's by Hanwag
The Hanwag Women's Sirkka Mid Winter Boot is at the forefront of functional style. Designed to plow through snowy city streets, this robust kick have been treated with Fjallraven's Greenland Wax to create a long-lasting water-resistant upper. The hand-reared brim is elevated to add further protection from slush from sneaking in. But the most impressive part of the Sirkka Boot is the rugged winterized sole. It boasts special ice-sticking rubber compounded with fine glass particles that dig into slippery surfaces to give you the most stable tread. Plus, an additional layer of insulation sits in between the sole and footbed to protect your feet from the freezing ground.

The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
