Product Description
H3 FR Carbon Road Wheel - Tubular by HED
Though other time-trial and triathlon-specific wheels may be faster in certain conditions, the fact remains that the HED H3 FR Carbon Road Tubular Wheel cuts drag from all angles, making it a much more versatile performer when nasty crosswinds and variable wind patterns threaten your day at time-trial and triathlon events. Available as both a front and rear wheel, the H3 FR Wheel is a full carbon tubular, with a 55mm deep rim, airfoil section spokes, and smooth connection points for incredibly low drag. Its deep rim section reduces drag for maximum efficiency. The spokes' unique shaping is aided by HED's special sauce for cross-wind scenarios, referred to as Stability Control Technology. This technology prevents the wheel from feeling squirrely or unmanageable during gusty conditions. The HED H3 FR Wheels feature an ultra-slim 19mm width for ample clearance with the smallest of time-trial frames. Each wheel comes with a titanium skewer. HED recommends keeping rider weight under 250-pounds. Moreover, you'll find the rear wheel is compatible either Shimano/SRAM or Campagnolo drivetrains.
