Hestra Heli Ergo Grip Glove

The gloves and mittens in the Heli line are Hestra's best-sellers, and they've taken them to the next level by tricking out the Heli Ergo Grip Glove with fleece insulation and a pre-curved finger construction to make gripping poles, fiddling with gear, and waving goodbye to the loser you just smoked easier than ever. Of course, the Ergo still has the same waterproof impregnated army goat leather palm as all its Heli brothers, although with some extra reinforcement, and a wind-and-waterproof Triton polyamide upper fabric that can stand up to tree branches, ski edges, and all the other sharp hazards that your hands encounter on the hill. You'll never have to hit the mountain with wet gloves, either, as the liner is removable to let the Ergo dry before you head out for your next shred session.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
