Product Description
Echo II Shelter System by Hyperlite Mountain Gear
The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Echo II Shelter System meets the minimalist requirements of your ultralight backpacking trip while still offering the protection of a traditional tent. Consisting of three modular components, the Echo II works like a fully-enclosed tent, but weighs significantly less thanks it high-tech fabrics and an innovative design. Dyneema composite fabrics are the strongest, lightest and most waterproof fabrics available in outdoor gear. The Dyneema tarp protects against wet weather, a no-see-um-mesh canopy keeps insects out, and the Dyneema bathtub floor prevents water and ground bugs from finding their way in. Simply set this shelter up using your trekking poles (not included) for structure and the guy lines for support and stability, and you've got yourself a completely waterproof, fully-enclosed shelter that weighs in at least than two pounds.
