The 738 allows super-low tire pressure in the range of 10-18 PSI with 2. 8-inch tires, which means more traction and less jarring from rock gardens and other lumpy trail imperfections. If you're more of the rounded profile 2. 24-2. 5-inch tire type, these rims also let you drop the pressure to somewhere in the realm of 18-25 PSI for low-pressure advantages. As an added bonus, Boost hub widths equate to unrelenting stiffness, which in turn makes for increases precision and responsiveness through rough, technical trails. The 738 boasts aluminum construction for a price-conscious wheelset with proven durability demanded by aggressive trail riders.
