Jones took the most versatile powder board on the market and made it even better by adding Ultra construction to create the Ultracraft Snowboard. Its ingenious design allows it to float effortlessly in chest-deep snow, yet still carve up hardpack. Not to mention, the added Ultra construction makes the board lighter and more responsive than the Hovercraft. More specifically, the Ultra utilizes an innovative construction technique that eliminates the wood core at the very tip and tail and replaces it with carbon composite to reduce swing weight while also stiffening the tips. A full carbon wrap keeps weight to an absolute minimum and creates a snappy, lively feel that gives you ultimate control over the board. The Master core consists of poplar and paulownia for the right balance of light weight, responsiveness, and durability, along with the addition of hardwood stringers at the edges for increased durability. Camber underfoot provides edge hold and stability on hardpack, while a long rockered nose keeps it afloat in powder and the short tail makes it highly maneuverable in deep snow. The base is also beveled at the tail's contact points for a catch-free feel on groomers. Traction Tech improves edge hold by adding multiple contact points along the running length of the board, giving you insane grip on icy slopes. Jones replaced traditional plastics in the topsheet with castor beans in order to damp the ride for a chatter-free feel. And, the castor beans decreases the use of toxic, unsustainable materials. The final piece to the Ultra puzzle is the Sintered 9900 base, which offers unmatched speed and durability.

The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
