After becoming the lightest 3/4-length sleeping pad on the market, Klymit's Inertia X-Lite could've just called it a day right there. That's not how Klymit works, though, so it engineered the Inertia to also be one of the most comfortable with a body-mapped design that supports your head, shoulders, and hips, without requiring extra material for other areas of your body. This cuts down on weight and bulk--the Inertia weighs just six ounces and packs down to the size of a soda can--and also allows for the creation of Loft Pockets, which are spaces in the pad that let your sleeping bag retain its loft instead of packing down underneath your body weight. You can fully inflate the Inertia with as few as two breaths, but Klymit also included a dry air pump for cold-weather camping, along with a stuff sack and patch kit to keep you ready for anything.
