Product Description
Carbon Ultralite Vario 4 Compact Trekking Pole by Komperdell
The Komperdell Carbon Ultralite Vario 4 Compact Trekking Poles are best suited for backpacking trips or hikes with long approaches where the need for extra stabilization comes and goes. Unlike most adjustable poles that have a telescoping shaft, the Vario 4 sports a four-section folding system that minimizes extra material and allows the pole to pack down to just over a foot in length. And at just over six ounces per pole, the Carbon Ultralite Vario 4 is Komperdell's lightest trekking pole, so it won't weigh you down on long trips.Carbon keeps the poles light, yet extremely stiff for reliable support. Carbon is also corrosion resistant and won't stick when you're trying to adjust it. The Power Lock 3. 0 locking system ensures your poles stay at the desired length and won't slip under pressure, and it's easy to use even with gloves on. Padded straps and Expedition foam grips help you keep a secure, comfortable grip. The tungsten and carbide tip is hard enough to use on hard glacier snow and packed dirt trails alike, and the Trekking Ice basket keeps your pole from digging too deep.
