Product Description
Ayako High GTX Backpacking Boot - Men's by Mammut
The Mammut Men's Ayako High GTX Backpacking Boot is ready for trails as tough as the Grand Traverse in the Tetons. Its Gore-Tex Performance Comfort handles the occasional showers, muddy sections, and ever-present gusts of cold wind. Enhanced breathability properties grant this Gore-Tex membrane the comforts needed to be more active on the trail. Meanwhile, Mammut's Motion Control uses a triple-density midsole for the support, stability, and cushioning required for the mountain's toughest trails. The boot's strong velours leather upper includes memory foam panels at the ankles, instep, and shin for customized comfort. Vibram's rubber sole comes with a mountaineering-specific Mulaz tread for reliable traction from dirty trailheads to rocky summits.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
