Mammut Rocker Protection Airbag 3.0 Backpack - 915cu in

The Mammut Rocker Protection Airbag 3. 0 Backpack is streamlined for freeride comfort and performance. Equipped with a lightweight and reliable airbag system, this backpack eliminates any excuse for going out into avalanche terrain without an airbag. The 3D-shaped Protection Airbag System 3. 0 shelters your head, neck, and back from trauma when activated and comes in a neon orange to make it easy to spot, even in poor visibility. The balloon also acts as a buoyancy device to reduce burial depth or prevent complete burial. Compressed gas allows you to use the system in mountain environments, regardless of conditions. The airbag system is fully removable, allowing you to transfer it to other compatible backpacks, or remove it completely for use in-bounds. In addition to offering protection in the event of an avalanche, the Rocker Backpack comes equipped with a variety of performance features to enhance your time on the mountain. A three-step back length adjustment allows you to customized the pack to your body. The adjustable aluminum V-frame provides burly, yet lightweight back support, and a thermo-molded back delivers comfort. In addition to multiple interior pockets, a specialized compartment holds avy equipment. It's also got a sleeve for your hydration bladder. Stowable diagonal ski and snowboard carriers secure your board, while the hip belt detaches for fast and light travel on quick laps. With a safety leg loop to keep the pack in place and a nice SOS label with instructions for easy reference, the Rocker will help keep you comfortable and safe on the mountain. Please note that this system does not include the Refillable Compressed Air Cartridge (available separately). And please remember, this airbag system is NOT a guarantee that you'll survive an avalanche. Get educated, get the right tools, travel with partners, and be smart out there.

Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
