Marker Ampire Helmet

Helmets don't do anything if they're not on your head, so quite lookin' at it, put the Marker Ampire Helmet on your head, and meet your buddies in the lift line. The Ampire combines the light weight of a hybrid shell with premium durability. The helmet features a hard shell upper and lightweight lower combined with an EPS foam core to offer sturdy impact protection. Along with the weight savings this helmet offers, its climate-control slider makes it easy to customize your desired level of ventilation, in case you want to lap the backside or send it up a quick bootback. The MarkAir ventilation system allows a comfortable level of airflow that prevents your head from getting too cold even with the vents fully open, or too warm when they're fully sealed. It also helps keep your goggles fog-free.Quickly adjust the helmet fit with a dial in back, and secure the strap with an easy-to-operate sliding magnetic snap without having to remove a glove. Ear pads offer added warmth and are audio-compatible and can be removed for sunny spring skiing. The antibacterial performance lining inside the helmet provides thermally-efficient, moisture-wicking comfort, but can be removed if you prefer the feel of your own beanie.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
