Mavic Ksyrium Pro Allroad Disc Wheeelset - Clincher

At last, you can take your Ksyrium loyalties onto the gravel with the reassurance of a wider 19mm internal rim width and compatibility with beefier 25mm and 28mm tires on Mavic's all-new Ksyrium Pro Allroad Disc Wheelset. Get excited about this new edition to Mavic's storied Ksyrium line, because something like this doesn't come around every year. With Mavic giving the widening rim width trend its long-withheld blessing, it's time to put the Allroad Disc on your frame and go enjoy Ksyrium reliability as you roll over choppy back roads and duck onto empty gravel paths. Using ever-reliable aluminum, Mavic shaped the Allroad Disc carefully, removing excess material to take advantage of aluminum's admirable blend of lightness and strength. Test the responsiveness of the Allroad disc as you attempt to maneuver up a slick gravel climb; the milled rim construction Mavic uses creates a wheelset that reacts quickly when you need it to on punchy climbs and loose sections of road. Normally, rim width would be a big enough deal on a new wheelset, but Mavic was in an overachieving mood when working on the Allroad Disc. If you're undecided on the Allroad Disc still, the brand new Instant Drive 360 hub alone should be enough motivation to scoop up a set of these wheels. The hub's design, featuring two interlocking ratcheting rings, is the first of its kind introduced on mass-produced wheels, and their nine claimed degrees of engagement and improved seals will make you realize what it actually feels like to pop out of a corner and accelerate into a straightaway. You can run the included Yksions clincher or tubeless, and if you do go tubeless, the rims are already sealed so you won't need to use any tape.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
