Niner Carbon XC DT 350 Boost Wheelset

Niner's lightweight and bombproof Carbon XC DT 350 Boost Wheelset is back with an extra dose of burly stiffness compliments of its beefy axle widths. Rolling fast on DT Swiss' lauded 350 hubs, this wheelset boasts industry-leading tubeless design and a 24mm internal rim width that provides a wide, stiff platform to keep you aired up and on course to the finish line.Niner borrows Stan's NoTubes' tubeless rim design, dubbed Stan's Bead Socket Technology (BST), universally touted for its unbeatable tubeless reliability. BST features low-profile sidewalls that provide a better seat for the tire bead and allow for a pile of benefits compared to standard rims with higher sidewalls. When run as tubeless, BST provides an exceptional seal while allowing the tire to hold a greater volume of air than rims with lower bead seating, which in turn allows the tire to maintain its full shape for a wider, more stable rolling platform. When paired with BST, a tubeless setup's ability to run up to 30% lower air pressure than clinchers results in exceptional tire stability, better handling, solid cornering, and better overall control. If you prefer clinchers, these rims are compatible with them, and the lower sidewall drastically reduces pinch flat risk by reducing the amount of material present for the tube to pinch against. This means less time sitting in the dust wrestling with a flat at the side of the trail and more time shredding your favorite loops.Niner utilizes an offset spoke hole drilling pattern in the XC Carbon rim that allows for even spoke tensions across the wheel, which improves lateral stiffness and overall durability compared to wheels with standard spoke holes. This means not only does this wheelset feel faster and more responsive off the line and out of corners, but it's also built to withstand whatever you or the trail throw at it.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
