Product Description
Falketind Windstopper Hybrid Jacket - Men's by Norrona
Keeping things light and comfortable is a big deal in demanding backcountry environments, which is why you always shave your mustache before a big trip. The Norrona Falketind Windstopped Hybrid Men's Jacket is the outerwear equivalent of a shorn 'stache--a lightweight, comfortable, and smooth softshell for everything from ski touring to alpine climbing to trekking. Norrona made the body of the Falketind from Windstopper softshell, a windproof (surprise!), water-resistant, and stretchy fabric that cuts the chill and breathes to prevent water vapor from building up on your skin. Extra stretchy and breathable Flex 1 softshell gives the underarms, back, and hips extra freedom of movement and comfort, while the two-way underarm zips provide even more breathability during high-output activities. The Falketind is reasonably minimalist, but it does offer some thoughtful touches like a helmet-compatible hood, pack and harness-compatible hand pockets, and a soft chin guard to prevent irritation when you duck your dome into the wind.
