Product Description
Luna Hiking Shoe - Women's by Oboz
The Oboz Women's Luna Hiking Shoes are the ideal choice for those high-mileage days when distance is the end goal. Weighing less than a pound per pair, the Luna is seriously light, without sacrificing the necessary components needed to remain dependable on the trail. Their upper is composed of synthetic leather and an abrasion- resistant textile fabric, ensuring the Luna stands up to heavy wear in the mountains. The Granite Peak sole is made from durable Granite Peak rubber with 4mm directional lugs for reliable traction on everything from loose, washed-out trails to rock- and root-strewn sections of singletrack. Oboz added a nylon shank and a stiff TPU chassis to keep the shoe stable during those steep, switchbacked descents back to the trailhead.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
