Rab Icefall Gauntlet Glove - Women's

The Women's Icefall Gauntlet Gloves from Rab are what you want on your hands when you're reaching above your head to plug in that last ice screw. An eVent membrane throughout helps prevent moisture from getting in, and the cinch-gauntlet ensures that runoff and snow doesn't get down your sleeves and cause problems. Pittards leather on the palms adds a reinforced layer, especially useful when you're doing ropework in sub-zero temperatures. Given that those temperatures are likely to make your schnoz just a bit runny, you'll appreciate the flocking patch on the back of the thumb that will help prevent your nose from getting chapped after a long time in the mountains.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
