Rome Blur Snowboard

You're wanted by ski patrol for ollieing slow signs, spraying tourists, and going way too fast down the main run. Luckily, they couldn't get a good look at you because you were flying by at mach speeds on your Rome Blur Snowboard. This powerful and precise board was carefully calibrated to help you carve up steeps, bomb down exposed terrain, and slash through powder. A mostly camber profile offers precision and edge hold to help you tear up steep terrain, while slight rocker at the tips keeps you from catching an edge at warp speed. The directional shape and setback stance enhance float in the deep stuff so you can surf powder when it snows two feet overnight. Two arcing carbon rods add torsional power and edge-to-edge response, so you can weave through tight trees with precision and explode out of carves. Basalt Impact Plates under the bindings prevent breaks and blowouts when you overshoot a cat track gap. Rome finished it off with a wax-slurping SinterSpeed base that keeps you moving fast and out of the reaches of ski patrol.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
