Rossignol X10 Skate Boot

High-performance construction meets long-wearing comfort in the Rossignol X10 Skate Boot. With a committed race fit, the X10 is designed for competitive athletes and expert, high-fitness recreational skiers alike. Rossignol opted for a 3D-injected, soft-touch cuff, so while the X10 isn't quite as light as Rossi's World Cup models, it allows racers and recreational athletes to have top-notch performance without shelling out World Cup dollars. Otherwise, the X10's features, like the same high-performance, low-profile X-Celerator sole, are comparable to Rossignol's World Cup racing boots. The X10 features a polyester thermo-adjustable liner, so you can customize its shape and volume around your specific foot shape, while asymmetrical lacing provides a precise, enveloped fit for ultimate comfort and control. The boot is a step up from the more recreational X8 boot and is the top of Rossignol's Performance lineup. It allows for a natural foot roll and optimum kick amplitude while skate skiing and is ideal for advanced skiers who enjoy long days of training while pushing the limits of their equipment.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
