Product Description
Alptrek 50+5L Backpack by Salewa
There's no question that multi-day backpacking trips below treeline are nice, but they don't really compare to those alpine traverses that expose you to sprawling views, high alpine meadows, and rugged granite peaks. If it's backpacking trips of this nature that get your blood pumping, then you'd do well to consider the Salewa Alptrek 50 Plus 5 Backpack for your next mountain endeavor. Borrowing its design principles from both backpacking packs and minimalist alpine packs, the Alptrek has a no-frills layout that reduces the pack's "fiddle factor", but with a 50-liter capacity, the pack still has room for everything you need for a three-day trek in the high country. Adjusting the pack to your individual torso length is made easy via the Custom-Fit Pro suspension system, which is also anatomically shaped, padded, and made with mesh to disperse the weight of the pack efficiently towards your hips and allow cool air to circulate through as you hike.

The pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
