Product Description
QST 85 Ski by Salomon
Salomon's speedy QST 85 Ski cruises down fresh groomers before lunch and obliterates your favorite off-piste lines in the afternoon. A skinny waist width of 85mm means this ski has a tight turn radius so you can carve groomers like a champ. The QST's All-Terrain Rocker includes a gradual rockered tip that deflects chop, and the rest of the ski is cambered for solid edge control on firm snow. The QST also styles Salomon's semi-sandwich Spaceframe 3. 0 AMB construction to provide superior ski-to-snow contact on and off piste. Its wood core extends down to the tail in order to reduce vibration when you're at top speeds, and the Power Platform provides maximum power underfoot and increased edge control on hard snow. The Hook Free Taper consists of a five point sidecut for enhanced quickness and agility through trees and skiers sitting where they shouldn't be.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
