Scott MTB RC Shoes - Men's

Whether you're bent on rocking hardcore desert singletrack or flying over barriers in an expansive box of sand, the Scott Men's MTB RC Shoes are up to the challenge with heaps of technology and style. Boasting a stiff carbon sole, lightweight upper, and secure boa closures, these shoes transfer power with swift efficiency while keeping your feet cool and comfortable on even the longest rides. Scott utilizes a strategic mix of lightweight microfiber and 3D nylon airmesh to construct the MTB RC's upper. These materials enclose Scott's Wrap Fit design, which is essentially an internal layer of synthetic leather that provides extra support while conforming to your foot shape to reduce pressure points and increase comfort. A BOA IP1 closure system weaves its way across the top of the shoe, and a second BOA secures the midfoot for easy adjustment on the fly. Inside, Scott's Adjustable ErgoLogic removable insole provides a customizable arch for additional tweaks to the fit. Underfoot, Scott incorporates a light, stiff HMX carbon fiber sole for efficient power transfer regardless of terrain. A lugged, X Traction outsole sits over the carbon to protect it from rocks and provide excellent grip when you're off the bike, and threading for two toe spikes provides extra traction options on muddy trails or steep inclines.

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
