Tepui Autana Sky Tent: 3-Person 4-Season

You might be touring the National Park system, following your favorite jam band around the country, or making your annual pilgrimage to that festival in the desert--either way, you'll be better prepared for what lies ahead with the Tepui Autana Sky Tent mounted to the top of your rig. You've probably seen the Autana in a campground somewhere in the Sierras, parked outside of a music festival, or spotted one set up in a remote desert camp somewhere on the Colorado plateau, and realized that's exactly what your rig needs. The Autana Sky is similar to Tepui's popular Autana tent, but differs in design thanks to two zippered sky panels on the roof, so you can enjoy the starry views from the roof of your car of truck. You might be asking yourself exactly how this crazy contraption works, but Tepui's smart design makes the Autana relatively simple to install and set up. An additional rainfly with PU coating can be deployed along the roof of the tent during those particularly surly storms. The main sleeping area sits on welded aluminum base that is insulated and capped with a sheet of aluminum, offering a solid platform for the included, high density foam mattress to rest on--this means you won't have to deal with air mattresses and sleeping pads, just set up the tent, throw you're blanket or sleeping bag down, and you'll be ready to catch some Zs.The collapsing design allows the Autana to be quickly deployed and collapsed at camp, and the included telescoping ladder makes getting in and out of the main sleeping area simple. The Autana also comes with an additional annex area that zips around the base of the main sleeping area, offering an additional 56sq ft ...

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
