Product Description
Hedgehog Fastpack GTX Hiking Shoe - Women's by The North Face
Hedgehogs are renowned for their hiking prowess and natural waterproof qualities, which is why The North Face named its dry, supportive, and comfortable women's hiking shoe the Hedgehog Fastpack GTX. Unlike its namesake, the Hedgehog's upper is made from PU-coated leather and mesh, with a super-sticky Vibram outsole that's designed to crush rock, dirt, and slick wet ground with equal aplomb. A waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane keeps your foot dry when you're splashing through puddles or hiking in the rain, and the Cradle Guide EVA midsole, TPU heel cradle, and TPU shank provide lightweight cushioning, ankle-saving support, and protection from rock strikes and rugged ground.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
