TYR Competitor 6in Tri Short - Women's

Come race day, you need every advantage that you're able to get. However, when it comes to triathlon shorts, matching an advantage with a disadvantage is common practice. By this, we mean that shorts that're fast on land are typically slow in the water. Conversely, shorts that are comfortable are completely lacking in aero- and hydrodynamics. Luckily, though, TYR has dedicated itself to creating a triathlon apparel that excels in all three disciplines. And as a result, we all benefit from pieces like the Competitor 6in Tri Women's Short. For the bulk of the Competitor Tri short's construction, TYR used a blend of nylon and spandex. This choice in fabric blend provides a supportive, yet non-constrictive, structure, while remaining soft-to-the-touch. Additionally, with the elasticity of the added spandex content, the resulting material is granted a four-way stretch. So, your freedom of movement is guaranteed, regardless of the discipline at hand. It features a comfort beaded silicone leg hem, a stretch-woven drawcord, and an ample, six-inch inseam. As a result of the latter, the shorts experience more surface area coverage, which results in an increase in both compressive support and resistance to wetsuit chafing. Furthering this level of comfort, TYR included its new Competitor AMP chamois. This insert features a minimalist construction as to provide enough support for the bike leg without...
