Umpqua Overlook 500 ZS Chest-Pack - 500cu in

After hours of use, a chest pack with a strap that digs into your neck just isn't comfortable, so go with the Umpqua Overlook 500 Chest-Pack. Its low, tapered profile does away with the chafing neck strap and provides you with full load-bearing shoulder straps and a back mesh panel for serious, all-day comfort. Plus its unique design doesn't stick out so far on your chest that you can't safely see your way down a steep bank. The low profile also won't get in the way of your casting. Durable synthetic materials, corrosion-resistant snag-free zippers, and sticky micro-textured zipper pulls also ensure years of use while a roomy 500 cubic inches of storage gives you enough room for your fly fishing essentials. Umpqua packed the Overlook 500 with hemostat grab-tabs/retractor-stations with retainers to minimize snagging and swinging and two external tippet pockets. A weatherproof pocket houses your cell or wallet, a back mesh pocket stashes your snacks, and dual molded barbless fly stations hold your flies. The Overlook 500 even features an internal key clip and integrates with the Surveyor 1100 backpack (sold separately).

October's Animal
Most commonly found in the tundra of Rocky Mountain National Park, the pika is a close relative of the rabbits and hares, with two upper incisors on each side of the jaw, one behind the other. Being rock-gray in color, pikas are seldom seen until their shrill, metallic call reveals their presence.
