Product Description
Monolith UltraDry Hiking Boot - Men's by Vasque
Standing all by yourself (or with a friend) on a deserted peak is pretty killer, and Vasque's Monolith UltraDry Men's Hiking Boot is designed to make that feeling of solitude and accomplishment easier to achieve. The Monolith rubber sole makes short work of all types of trails, and the EVA footbed and molded midsole keep your feet comfortable during five-mile evening cruises and quad-busting 20 milers. Vasque also included a TPU stabilizer shank for a solid feel on uneven terrain and added a mid-height ankle to balance stability, flexibility, and weight. Topping off the whole package is Vasque's UltraDry waterproof and breathable membrane, which fends off afternoon thunderstorms and morning mud puddles with aplomb.

November's Featured Park
The North Cascades have long been known as the North American Alps. Characterized by rugged beauty, this steep mountain range is filled with jagged peaks, deep valleys, cascading waterfalls and glaciers. North Cascades National Park Service Complex contains the heart of this mountainous region in three park units which are all managed as one and include North Cascades National Park, Ross Lake and Lake Chelan National Recreation Areas.
November's Animal
Badgers are animals of open country. Their oval burrows (ten inches across and four to six inches high) are familiar features of grasslands on sandy or loamy soils of the eastern plains or shrub country in mountain parks or western valleys.
