Prince William Forest Park - Facilities Prince William Forest Park Visitor Center Open Open All Year 9:00 to 5:00 Phone 703-221-7181 Location The visitor center can be reached via the park main entrance found off of Joplin Road (Va. 619). Highway 619 can be reached by leaving Interstate 95 at exit 150 and going west about 1/4 mile. The visitor center is about 1/2 mile beyond the park entrance. Closures January 1, Thanksgiving Day, December 25. Special Programs Please ask for a list of current ranger programs. Exhibits The visitor center contains exhibits examining the history of the area before and after it became a national park. Also, videos of the park and its wildlife and human history are shown upon request, as is a park orientation video. Available Facilities Exhibits, restrooms, videos and a cooperating association bookstore. |
