Prince William Forest Park
Prince William Forest Park preserves approximately 15,000+ acres of mixed hardwood forest covering a major portion of the Quantico Creek watershed. The park is the largest protected "Green Space" in the Washington, D.C. area and is the third largest unit of the National Park System in Virginia.

Serving as the largest protected example of a Piedmont forest ecosystem in the National Park System, a diverse population of both flora and fauna can be found here making the park a significant natural resource.
