Access many destination and loop hikes along the Bear Lake Road corridor while enjoying the beautiful scenery without the distraction and hassle of traffic congestion and limited parking. Join us on one of our environmentally friendly passenger shuttle buses. Easy Connections Shuttle buses run between many trailheads, Moraine Park and Glacier Basin Campgrounds and the Moraine Park Museum on the Bear Lake Road. The shuttle buses run on two routes along the Bear Lake Road, the Bear Lake Route and the Moraine Park Route. Both routes are based at the Park & Ride shuttle bus parking area, across from Glacier Basin Campground on the Bear Lake Road, where you can make your connection between the routes. Annual Schedule for Both Routes The buses run weekends in spring and fall. During the summer, the buses run everyday of the week. The buses do not run in the winter. 2005 Schedule May 27-30 (Friday through Sunday on Memorial Day weekend) June 4-5 June 11-12 June 18-September 11 September 16-18 September 23-25 September 30-October 1 Bear Lake Route The shuttle bus leaves the Park & Ride enroute to Bear Lake. Stops include Bierstadt Lake Trailhead and Glacier Gorge Trailhead. There is no shuttle bus stop at Sprague Lake. Click here for a map of the shuttle bus routes. Between 9 am and 5 pm buses run every 10 minutes. Otherwise they run every 15 minutes. To Bear Lake (departing from the Park & Ride): first bus leaves at 7am; last bus leaves at 7pm From Bear Lake (departing from the bus stop at Bear Lake trailhead): first bus leaves Bear Lake at 7:15am; the last bus leaves Bear Lake at 7:30pm Do not miss the last bus! Moraine Park Route The shuttle bus leaves the Fern Lake Bus Stop, enroute to the Park & Ride, throughout the day. Stops include Cub Lake Trailhead, C-Loop Trail to Moraine Park Campground, Moraine Park Campground Junction, Moraine Park Museum, Tuxedo Park, Hollowell Park and Glacier Basin Campground. Click here for a map of the shuttle bus routes. Buses run every 30 minutes. From July 2 through August 21 buses will run every 20 minutes.
