Saint Croix National Scenic River - FacilitiesVISITOR CENTERS Namekagon Visitor Center Open Exhibits and a bookstore are open Friday, May 23 to Labor Day, seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM CDT. It will be open Tuesday, September 2 to Friday, October 18 seven days a week from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. It is open Monday-Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM the rest of the year and closed on Federal Holidays, November - March. Phone 715-635-8346 Location Highway 63 just north of juncture with highway 53 in the town of Trego. Closures Currently closed it will reopen in May. Exhibits Logging, fur trade and a tracks exhibits plus a mounted bear. A touch table gives a close up view at things from nature. Available Facilities Restrooms and drinking fountain. Eastern National book sales area. St. Croix Visitor Center Open Open 8:00-4:30 seven days a week, May through mid-October. It is open Monday-Friday the rest of the year and closed on Federal Holidays, November - March. Phone 715-483-3284 x606 Location On the river, one block west of Hwy. 87 just north of the business district in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Passport stamp and brochures available at Administrative lobby or Polk County Information Center. Exhibits New exhibits are being developed focusing on the St. Croix River.
