Wooded campgrounds are quiet and secluded, offering facilities for group campers, as well as tent and trailer sites. In the winter, snowshoes are available for rent daily. Located on the beach road, the award winning, Lake Shore Cottage provides everything from a refrigerator, stove, dishes and utensils to a screened porch, bathroom with shower, bedding, pillows and a cozy fireplace. The newly renovated Campground Cottage will be available in May 2009 and offers many of the same amenities as the Lake Shore Cottage. Description: Luzerne Campground partially surrounds Fourth Lake, which is approximately 51 acres, with a maximum depth of 41 feet. No motor boats are allowed on the lake, creating a peaceful and quiet atmosphere. Luzerne has a special camping area for equestrians, with horse barns, separate corrals with water, and picnic tables, located in a grove of pines.
