Become a Junior Ranger at Steamtown NHS! Attention parents! Inquire at our Visitor Center desk for a 4-page booklet highlighting areas in the Steamtown NHS museums that appeal to children!

Junior Ranger Program

Junior Ranger booklets are available at the Visitor Center desk (free of charge for visiting families; for groups of 4 or more, donation requested but not required). Children can learn about the history of steam railroading through word searches, drawings, and scavenger hunts! These booklets are age-appropriate for either 6-8 or 9-12 year-olds!
